What Is VILA?

Successful interactions do not just happen; instead, they are developed and learned through intention, experience, and overtime. This course is designed to help leaders build cultural competence and increase their capacity to be effective with the people you work with every day.

The Virtual Intercultural Leadership Academy (VILA) is designed to foster leadership skills and intercultural competence among participants from various experiences and worldviews.

The academy will run for 7 weeks from January 28 through March 11, 2025, providing a comprehensive learning experience through interactive virtual sessions, discussions, and practical activities.

The Virtual Intercultural Leadership Academy (VILA) is a comprehensive program designed to enhance leadership and intercultural competence through virtual sessions, discussions, and practical activities.

Running from January to March 2025, the academy covers modules on intercultural leadership, cultural competence, communication across cultures, leading diverse teams, conflict resolution, and strategic leadership.


The program includes live sessions, assignments, and team projects. The course concludes with final presentations, a graduation ceremony, and a networking session.
